Peibri Place is a newly established Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander owned and operated multi-functional event space. We established Peibri Place as a creative concept to our existing business portfolio's. Research showed us that, there are limited event spaces located on the Newcastle Harbour that have the versatility that we (and other businesses) required. Establishing Peibri Place came from the Owner's drive to create a versatile space for in-house training, and to focus on skills development for employees in business practices, networking, event styling, event administration and People Management functions. Peibri Place is not only beautiful but it is the space to create all those amazing opportunities.

 

Peibri Place is a second-to-none event space, that creates a relaxing yet stimulating atmosphere - and our guests leave (Peibri Place) feeling inspired and reconnected. The bonus of being located on Wickham Harbour in Newcastle, which is a stone’s throw from Newcastle’s CBD, is an exceptional business advantage.

 

The word "Peibri" is the Meriam language word for 'Stingray'. It was chosen because it is the family totem of one, of our Founding Directors.

 

Peibri Place has spectacular water views overlooking the Wickham Marina, and the constant activity of Newcastle’s working harbour. The beauty of our multi-functional event space, is that it can be designed to compliment any event. If you are hosting a small board meeting - to a formal glitz and glam event, Peibri Place can do that.

 

Our venue is available to all communities and has capacity for 100 guests (sit down) and 200 standing cocktail.
